Recognition & Growth

From winning the 2024 Thorne Prize at StartUp Yale to placing 3rd in the Health Track at the 2025 Yale Innovation Summit, Upkeep Care continues to gain recognition for our mission to transform social care coordination.

These achievements validate our approach and fuel our commitment to making essential resources more accessible to those who need them most.

The Origin of Our Idea

Upkeep was born from Blake's journey of navigating support for both his grandfather and himself during his own chronic illness. Through these experiences, he realized just how difficult it is to find the right help when you're depleted—whether from being sick yourself or caring for a loved one.

Today, Blake, our CTO Andrew, and the Upkeep Care team are leveraging AI to transform how people access social services and resources— returning control to those who know their needs best: the people seeking care.

Our Mission

To make essential social services and resources accessible to everyone who needs them, when they need them. We believe that finding help shouldn't be harder than the problem you're trying to solve.

By leveraging AI technology, we're breaking down the barriers that prevent people from accessing the support they're entitled to, creating a more equitable and efficient social care system.

Our Vision

A world where every person can easily find and access the resources they need to thrive, regardless of their circumstances or technical expertise.

We envision a future where social care coordination is seamless, dignified, and empowering—where technology serves humanity's most fundamental need: caring for one another.
